Let an expert lead the way! Family tours encourage families to have fun in the Museum’s art galleries through interactive activities. Our staff-led tours are 30 minutes long and are followed by an optional art activity in the FIG Studio. By participating together as a family, adults and children can build an appreciation for art that lasts a lifetime.

Creativity Crates for Kids is a “creativity and family learning” lending program developed by FIG educators as a twist on our wildly popular take-home projects. Museum members can “check-out” one of our Creativity Crates for 2 weeks of exploration in the theme of their choosing. Crates are available for children 2 years and older and are designed around arts and crafts, literacy, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). Available for checkout during FIG open hours.
FREE to Museum members only.

The Museum periodically hosts special activity days focused on a specific theme or upcoming holiday. Families can explore the exhibits and enjoy related activities, such as arts and crafts projects, music, creative play, face-painting, story-telling, and more. A small admission fee may apply.
