True North:
The Images of Darius Kinsey

ARCO Exhibits Building

We invite you to come enjoy a sampling of a photographic legacy preserved at the Whatcom Museum now for over 25 years, the Darius Kinsey Collection. Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir were documented through Kinsey’s lenses at a size that most of us will never see in our life time. His use of large format cameras captured the essence of the people, their life and work in this area from the late 1800s to the mid 1940s with a clarity that cannot be matched and should be viewed and admired.
