Jack Carver Photographs

Whatcom Museum, 1892 Old City Hall

From high school football games, to weather, to snap shots of several U.S. presidents, Jack Carver did it all. Over a career of more than 35 years as photographer for the Bellingham Herald, Carver documented the history of Whatcom County through the art of the photograph. This exhibition will feature selected images from the Museum’s collection of over 54,000 negatives and 21,000 black and white prints that document photographic journalism in Bellingham and Whatcom County from 1937 to 1981.
