Nov. 19, 2006 – April 29, 2007
ARCO Exhibits Gallery

For nearly seven decades, the Tacoma Art Museum has given special attention to the artists of the Northwest, collecting and exhibiting their work. In 2003, Tacoma Art Museum acquired over 200 additional works of Northwest art for their permanent collection as they approached the opening of a new art museum facility in Tacoma. Like Tacoma Art Museum, the Whatcom Museum has supported Northwest art and artists since its inception in the 1960s. The Whatcom Museum is proud to partner with Tacoma Art Museum to showcase selections of outstanding contemporary Northwest art from Tacoma’s permanent collection. For more information about this exhibition, please call the Whatcom Museum at (360)676-6981. more
